wow! what a great find!
tidy areaawesome viewsextra charge
we found it close enough to blair. the grounds are well kept and the outside buildings are very clean. the area outside the kitchen is tidy, i appreciated that a lot. the rooms have individual decorations, we stayed on the second floor with a lovely balcony overlooking the village. the views were awesome!
the water in the room had an extra charge. the room was nice! though it did not quite meet the standard of others at this price point. i felt it lacked finishing touches for the price, so i won't be returning

the staff is highly professional! also, the staff is kind and values all of the guests. when we arrived for dinner, we went to the drawing room. we ordered drinks and chose from a varied menu.

the bed was super comfortable! it was one of the most comfortable beds i have slept in. the room was immaculately clean. there is no lift, so take your time with luggage to your room; it is worth it!

breakfast was individually prepared, so it was delicious! dinner is a must and it should be included in your daily room rate! the wine list is excellent, and it has an extensive range of single malts, so order a bottle!

the food in the restaurant was acceptable.
I was charged for water left in my room. This detail felt nickel-and-dime, especially given the room rate. the room itself, while adequate, did not fully justify the price point. i expect better value at this level.

The hotel charges a premium, but some details miss the mark. the garden rooms faced a rather imposing hedge, not exactly scenic. i was surprised to see a charge for bottled water in the room. It seemed a bit much. the room itself was nice, though not quite living up to the price tag. 'the location was perfect! though the parking was expensive'.
